Scott Laserow was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Laserow is a designer and Professor of Graphic and Interactive Design at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, in Philadelphia. For 29 years, he has taught at every level from foundations to graduate course, teaching everything from identities and layout to animation, website design and development, digital publication, and tablet applications. Since 2004, Laserow has focused increasingly on posters as a design challenge and an instrument of social change. Laserow’s posters have appeared in dozens of international publications — including the cover of GRAPHIS posters 2015. His work has been exhibited worldwide, has many posters in permanent collections in international museums, has received numerous international awards, and served as a judge for various international poster competitions.
