Pradita Institute of Science and Technology or Pradita Institute is an educational institution initiated by PT Summarecon Agung, Tbk and its partners. Inaugurated last August, Pradita Institute is ready to give birth to graduates who are rich in experience and knowledge. One of the visions of Pradita Institute is to provide industrial global insight in learning and teaching activities to students. In this regard, Pradita Institute is committed to realizing its vision by designing learning situations that bring students closer to working conditions, one of which is through the performance of Agnieszka Ziemiszewska Poster Exhibition in collaboration with the Visual Communication Design (DKV) and Interior Design (DI) Pradita Institute program. Not only in collaboration with global graphic design, this exhibition also collaborates with Worldwide Graphic Designers (WGD) which links with designers around the world through various activities such as exhibitions abroad.
In order to give birth to graduates who are not only fresh graduates, but also experienced graduates, the performance of Agnieszka Ziemiszewska Poster Exhibition is one of the opportunities for the DKV and DI Pradita Institute study programs to hold international-level collaboration with knowledge sharing. Agnieszka Ziemiszewska is a graphic design, professor and curator from Poland. Not only organizing various events and exhibitions, this poster exhibition by Japanese-Polish descent artists aims to provide real experience to students majoring in DKV and DI Pradita Institute in the form of international teaching. The exhibition also introduces students to the mechanism of working and thinking of a professional designer. Through this exhibition, students are expected to be able to instill their enthusiasm and confidence in the field of graphic design.
To realize this poster exhibition, Pradita Institute also collaborated with Summarecon Mal Serpong (SMS), which had previously collaborated in enterprise courses, namely a course that teaches about communication and marketing experience in the real industrial world. Known as a shopping center that has always been successful in organizing events, SMS has become a lifestyle center with a high number of visitors every day. Seeing this, SMS is the right choice for the Pradita Institute to collaborate with graphic design from Poland, Agnieszka Ziemiszewska in holding a poster exhibition.
This performance is an opportunity for loyal SMS visitors to explore the beauty of unlimited typography, colors, shapes and aesthetics from the original works of Agnieszka Ziemiszewska. Not only 40 posters by Agnieszka Ziemiszewska, this exhibition also showed 22 posters and 6 installation works resulting from the TYPOEXPO workshop by DKV students and DI Pradita Institute which carried the theme of the 11th anniversary of Summarecon Mal Serpong, LOMBOKPALUCARE posters by WGD members and DKV lecturers and DI Pradita Institute. The exhibition was also equipped with an introduction to the character of Agnieszka Ziemiszewska, who is an international graphic design and professor from Poland by WGD and an online online Typography lecture taught by Agnieszka Ziemiszewska. Through this exhibition, SMS loyal visitors had the opportunity to see various works of art from other perspectives.
