Keith Kitz is an artist, graphic designer, and educator living in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is the founder of Keith Kitz Design, a private practice that has serviced clients both nationally and internationally since 2009. Kitz is also the Program Director, Master of Arts in Graphic Design (MAGD), and an Assistant Professor, Graphic Design in the College of Arts & Sciences at Suffolk University. Since joining the program full-time in 2018, Kitz has had a direct impact on updating and redeveloping both the BFA and MA curricula, including the implementation of a senior capstone project and the restructuring of the MA leveling and thesis pathways. His coursework runs the full spectrum of student development from fundamentals through the creation and implementation of multi-channel design campaigns.
Outside of classroom and client commitments, In 2014, Kitz established his annual 365 Poster Project. This purely experimental space has allowed him to embrace his passion for the form, generating a minimum of a poster a day. To date, this daily making has covered a vast array of personal, social, and political topics, generating several thousand entries, many of which have traveled the world.
Keith’s award-winning work has been chronicled in books, periodicals, exhibitions, and permanent collections throughout the United States, and internationally in over 40 countries. He has also had the honor of contributing as juror to several national and international poster competitions and events.
